Location

Hinton, Alberta may seem like a long way from nowhere, but it’s actually in the heartland of the logging business we serve. In addition, its proximity to one of North America’s most glorious natural gems -- Jasper National Park – makes it a marvelous base from which to serve our customers. The beauty of the natural surroundings here in Hinton is great for our employees, and it provides an excellent haven for our customers as well. We encourage our customer to escape their hectic day-to-day lives and join us for a day or two of one-on-one training here in Hinton, followed by some good R&R in the pristine Canadian Rockies.

Our Approach

At Caribou, we understand that when you buy a new software application, you aren’t just buying a piece of software. You’re also buying access to a support infrastructure to help you use the software as efficiently as possible. We pride ourselves in offering reliable, friendly, and efficient service to our customers. We care a lot about technology, but we also care a lot about you at Caribou!

With over ten years of experience in performing software implementations for both large and small companies, we have learned the importance of ensuring that our users are getting the assistance they need, particularly during their first few weeks with the software. We follow a process that ensures we configure the system to meet your business facts up-front, and we combine self-guided training materials with one-on-one training to expedite the learning process and establish comfort and competency with our system.

Whether you are a proficient computer user, or you are just beginning to establish a relationship with your computer, our support and training people will adjust to meet your needs. We rely on an internet-based tool called Webex to provide our customer training and support, and we provide as much or as little training and consulting assistance as you require.

 Growing Our Business

We are a small, but vibrant and growing company, and we’re always looking to expand our pool of talent. We are currently accepting resumes for independent, commission-based sales and training consultants in forestry-centric regions throughout North America. We offer a great opportunity for ambitious, self-motivated, independent-minded sales representatives who are comfortable with computers and have a background in forestry.

If you are looking for a position as a software support and training specialist, you like small-town life, you are self-motivated and customer-centric, and you value access to year-round outdoor recreation, send in your resume. If you match our requirements, and your timing is right, we may have a position available!

Please stop into our world every so often and check out what's going on.  We will post our schedule of activities -- new features, reports, road trips, etc. -- so that you can keep abreast of what we've got on the move.
