Load Slips

The Trucker's Edge tracks and reports loads to the block level and destination level.  Cycle time reporting allows you to analyze the turn-around times for your trucks and drivers.  You can also generate reports on a driver's hours based on cycle times.

The Trucker's Edge allows you to enter rate schedules and then compare the payments you receive from your customers against the amount calculated based on those rates.

The Trucker's Edge allows you to estimate your travel hours and calculate your equivalent revenue per hour, even though you are paid by tonne or mileage.

The Trucker's Edge can track distances between blocks and destinations.  There are reports that allow you to analyze your mileage by truck or driver.

The Trucker's Edge has a robust overload tracking system that allows you to track overloads either based on mill policy or based on your own policy.  Overloads can be based on gross or net weights and deductions can be made at a flat rate or a rate based on the weight over the maximum threshold.

The Trucker's Edge has a built-in function that allows you to import your load tickets and revenue from users of the The Logger's Edge.  Imagine not having to rekey all your ticket data.  Cool Huh!

The Trucker's Edge allows you to record and track all operating expenditures for your trucks.  For example, you can track your expenditures on repairs, parts, fluids -- diesel, oil, and the like.  You can see exactly what a truck is costing you.

The Trucker's Edge also keeps track of your odometer readings and allows you to create a full maintenance history for your truck(s).  You can also easily check to see the miles per gallon you are getting.

The Trucker's Edge can manage your on and off highway road use.  If you need to apply for a fuel rebate for your off-highway miles -- especially in British Columbia -- The Trucker's Edge can vastly reduce the time you spend compiling your data for reporting your mileage.

One Database for Single Point of Entry

• All your data are stored in one place -- no more searching for the right MS Excel file
• Data are keyed in once. For example, if you enter a load slip once, you can then generate a variety of reports (such as deliveries by destination or truck turn-around times), all based on one single entry of the ticket.  No more handling of the information numerous times to complete numerous tasks.
• Changes cause all related entries to be updated automatically. For example, if you change a block name, all load slips for the block are automatically updated.
• You cannot make keypunch spelling errors. The database will NOT save data that are not valid. For example, you set up a tract with the name of 'Williams Estate' -- you cannot save a load slip with the tract name accidentally spelled 'Wllms Estate'.
