Focus:
Focus of Report is to provide a report that estimates the inventory of wood
that has been harvested, yet not delivered on a block-by-block basis. The
report uses tree counts, and the volume per tree, to estimate production.
Deliveries are based on load slips.
- This report depends on tree counts for estimating production
- If more than one tree count is enabled, each tree type can be associated
with a load attribute (.e.g. species or sort) in basic setup. This
allows production to be matched against loads with the same attributes.
- If load attributes are not specified, all production will be grouped
together for the block
Selection Window:
The selection window allows you to filter the report by:
- Date/Time. You can directly ender a date/time range for the start
and end dates for your report. If you leave the end time blank, the
program will assume you want the entire day for the end date. In the
example below, the start date/time is 8/1/2004 00:00:00 (a blank is assumed
to be time 00:00:00) and the end date/time is 8/15/2004 00:00:00.
Because the end date time is blank (or 00:00:00), the program assumes you
want the whole day of the 15th and makes the end date/time 8/16/2004
00:00:00. In the selection query, the program returns records
whose start date/time is greater than OR equal to the start/date time and strictly
less than the end date/time. You do not need to select a period
-- this selection is merely used to facilitate the entry of the state and
end dates. If you select a period, you can always edit the state and
end dates to be any date you choose. For example, you can pick a
period defined as 8/1/2004 to 8/12/2004, and then extend the end date by
three days to 8/15/2004.
- Block: You can select any or all of your blocks.

Detailed Description:
The report will show a summary of advances and repayments
on those advances.
The report shows the following columns:
-
Area: Primary Part 1 for the Block
-
Compartment: Primary Part 2 for the Block
-
Block: Block
-
Species: Species
-
Current Production Vol: Volume harvested in the
date range (based on tree count and volume/tree on the block)
-
Current Delivered Vol: Volume delivered in the
date range selected
-
Inventory Build (+/-): Increase or decrease in
inventory. If production exceeds deliveries, the build is positive,
and vice versa.
-
Total Production Vol: Total volume harvested
through the end date of the date range (based on tree count and
volume/tree on the block)
-
Total Delivered Vol: Total volume delivered
through the end date of the date range.
-
Decked Vol: Difference between total production
and total deliveries. This amount should reflect the current inventory
not yet delivered.
Report:
Example Report 1 shows format of the report. Note
that in rows 13 and 14, there is no production, indicating that no tree
counts have been entered for that block.
