The selection window allows you to filter the report by:

• Date Range: You can either select a pay period, or you can simply enter the start and end date directly into the selection criteria window. The Period selection is merely a short-cut for entering a date range, so you can always edit the start and end dates to be any date you choose. For example, you can pick a period defined as 8/1/2004 to 8/12/2004, and then extend the end date by three days to 8/15/2004. If you leave the end time blank, the program will assume you want the entire day for the end date. In the example below, the start date/time is 8/1/2004 00:00:00 (a blank is assumed to be time 00:00:00) and the end date/time is 8/15/2004 00:00:00. Because the end date time is blank (or 00:00:00), the program assumes you want the whole day of the 15th and makes the end date/time 8/16/2004 00:00:00. In the selection query, the program returns records whose start date/time is greater than OR equal to the start/date time and strictly less than the end date/time.
• Note:  for report information that is based on load tickets, the report uses the Date Out (not the Date In).
• Equip Unit:  You can select any or all of your contractor-owned equipment.
• Block:  You can select any or all of your blocks
• The "Summary Data" option generates a summary version of the report where totals are calculated for each machine and block.

The report shows payments due for each load on an activity-by-activity basis.  The columns are:

• Equipment Unit:  Equipment on the loads
• Block Code:  Source Block of the loads
• Destination:  Destination of the loads
• Load Attributes:  Optional columns for attributes such as species, sort, process, etc.
• Date:  Exit date/time of the load -- suppressed in Example Report 1
• Net Weight:  Net (Gross less Tare) load weight
• Volume:  Volume of the load.  Unit of measure is that defined for the source block
• Conversion:  Rate at which the net weight is converted into the volume measure.
• Ticket: Load ticket number
• Contract:  Revenue or Payment Contract under which activity should be paid
• Activity:  Activity for which revenue was received
• Pay Rate:  Pay rate used for calculating payments
• Pay Weight:  Pay units used for calculating payments
• Pay:  Amount contractor is paid for the equipment unit on the load

• This report relies on activities (and equipment) being tracked on each load ticket.  If the equipment is not tracked by load ticket, the report will be meaningless.  Also, for payments to be included, the contractor (equipment owner) must be paid by the load ticket (i.e., they must not be paid hourly).
• The report treats 'split' loads as individual 'load' records. The report does use the load count field on the load slip where load counts are shown.
• Where an equipment unit is assigned a fraction of a load (the load percentage is between 0 and 1), the weight and volume for the loads are not adjusted.  The pay amount and pay weight do reflect the fractional share accorded the equipment unit (equipment owner).

Example Report 1 shows the report.  The report is ordered by equipment unit and shows all loads worked by that unit, as well as a total for all loads.  Though not shown in the example report, subtotals by block will be included if an equipment unit works more than one block.

Example Report 2 shows the report in summary form.  The report is ordered by equipment unit and shows all loads worked by that unit, as well as a total for all loads.  If a machine works more than one block, a subtotal line will be inserted for each block.
