The selection window allows you to filter the report by:

• Date Range: You can either select a pay period, or you can simply enter the start and end date directly into the selection criteria window. The Period selection is merely a short-cut for entering a date range, so you can always edit the start and end dates to be any date you choose. For example, you can pick a period defined as 8/1/2004 to 8/12/2004, and then extend the end date by three days to 8/15/2004. If you leave the end time blank, the program will assume you want the entire day for the end date. In the example below, the start date/time is 8/1/2004 00:00:00 (a blank is assumed to be time 00:00:00) and the end date/time is 8/15/2004 00:00:00. Because the end date time is blank (or 00:00:00), the program assumes you want the whole day of the 15th and makes the end date/time 8/16/2004 00:00:00. In the selection query, the program returns records whose start date/time is greater than OR equal to the start/date time and strictly less than the end date/time.
• Note:  For report information that is based on load tickets, the report uses the Date Out (not the Date In).
• Block:  You can select any or all of your blocks.
• Sort By:  The report can be sorted first by date and then by block, or first by block and then by date.
• Summary Data Only:  This option generates a summary version of the report with only subtotals and totals.

The selection criteria determine the date range and blocks that appear in the report.  The report is based on your load slip entries that have been checked as sample loads.

The report shows the scaled logs for each load.

For each individual log, the columns are:

• Ticket #:  Load ticket number.
• Code:  Unique code for the load.
• Log #:  Log Number.  Sequential number starting at 1 (one).
• Species:  Log Species (C_PART_4).
• Product:  Log Product (C_PART_5).
• Top Dia:  Top diameter of the log.
• Butt Dia:   Butt diameter of the log.
• Length:  Length of the log.
• Gross:  Gross log scale.
• Deduct:  Volume deduction.
• Net:  Net log scale.
• Net:  Unit of measure.
• Quality Code:  Quality code of the log (if any).
• Code:  Unique log identifier (LE generated).

If you check the 'Summary Data Only' checkbox, the report will suppress the log-by-log data and only show the summary data for each load.  The summary data are a listing of the logs grouped by species and product, by load.

• The report only includes loads that have been marked as sample loads.
• The report does not rely on the running of any calculators.

The Example Report below shows the log-by-log detail for each load.
