Select Data Entry | Time Slips | Employees | Enter Slips. This window is where you enter your employee time. Click on 'Add' to enter a new time slip.

By clicking 'Add', you call up the time entry form:

The tree count fields are shown with their user-defined labels. In the form above, both fields have been enabled -- one labeled 'Aspen' and the other labeled 'Spruce'
In each field, you would enter the relevant tree counts. If an employee is paid based on tree counts (Rate Type of TREES) the employee pay will be based on the sum of the two counts. If an employee is paid based on tree volume (Rate Type of TREE_VOL), the employee pay will be based on the sum of the two tree volumes. (The tree volume is calculated as the tree count entered here multiplied by the volume per tree assigned to the block. If you have two tree count fields enabled, you will have two volume per tree fields on your block setup window.)
The tree count fields can be set to required or optional. If optional, a blank entry is treated as zero.
The required entries for a time slip above are shown in yellow:
The Hours entry, although required, can be set to 0.00 if you do not care about tracking employee or equipment time. (Of course, if you are paying certain employees by tree count, the tree count fields must be completed for those employees even though the fields are not yellow.)
The Time Summary Tab shows a summary of all the employee's time by day. Because an employee often has more than one time entry for a day, the summary allows you to see at a glance each employee's daily hours.
