Getting started with a new software program is always the hardest part.
It can be one of the most annoying, frustrating and aggravating experiences
anyone would voluntarily put themselves through. The resources on this
page will hopefully ease this this startup burden. Even so, we know
that users will probably utter a couple of explicatives before they reach
wizard status.

Caribou internet support is provided by Linktivity.
Linktivity is a really cool internet software program that allows us to see (or take over) your computer
and help you effectively use the Edge. We also
use Linktivity to provide demos of new or enhanced features over the
World Wide Web. |

This is a numerical listing of errors and warnings you may
receive when you run the pay calculators. There is also a set
of tips and suggestions that should help you resolve the errors. |

As we release new versions of our software, we will post a
summary of the significant new features, enhancements and bug fixes. |
| FTP Site |
The 'FTP' site is used by us to exchange large files with you.
For example, if we need a copy of your database to analyze a
problem, we will ask to to 'post' your database file to our FTP
site. You will need a user name and password to access the FTP
site - if you don't have an account, call us and we will set up an
account for you. |

We have a couple of tutorials that can jump start your learning process
by working through some simple examples. These examples will give you
a basic understanding of the system and tech you how all the basic screens
work. You'll learn basic setup stuff like how to add, edit or delete

provides the capability to pay employees or subcontractors in a number of
different ways. For example, employees can be paid by the hour, but
they can also be be paid by tree count, by the day, or by load weight,

The Logger's Edge
provides a wide range of reports. In general, we find that users only
utilize a small subset of these reports and it is easy to enable and disable
reports so that your Logger's Edge
reporting application has only those reports that suit your needs. We
have included documentation on each report below so that you can better
understand how to use these reports, and to see what reports are available. |
